Jeep FAQ How-To Articles Quick Reference Product Reviews My Buildup Random Home	Power Steering Gear O-Ring Replacements   Recently I needed to replace the o-rings on the lines going to the power steering gear box (on my YJ). Unfortunately after much searching, I couldn't find what size they were, or replacements. Both the pressure and return line use the same size o-ring, 7/16 x 5/16 x 1/16. I found these in the plumbing section of the hardware store, for 0.29 each. Also note you should test the o-rings for compatibility with the fluid before installing them. I soaked these o-rings in power steering fluid overnight to make sure they had no adverse reactions to power steering fluid.
