CBs:
Anymore I consider CBs a necessity on the trail. They are awesome to forewarn the rest of the group of things they may want to watch on the trail, reach others for help, or just give your buddies a hard time while they're sturggling on an obstacle. You'll need a CB, antenna cable, antenna, and a mount. Any antenna that is designed to transmit, must be tuned. If you don't tune your CB antenna before using it, you will burn the radio up and it will become a receive only radio. This post will walk you through some CB basics. Trust me a CB will make your trips more fun.
