Automatic Lockers have their quirks but can be run on the road. On nice dry roads other than the noises lockers make you won't even know its there. On wet or slippery surfaces some extra caution must be used, as the rear end will have a tendency to slide sideways, particularly on take off. Nothing more than a regular old car with a posi unit, its manageable but you must be aware of it.
