This results in the gauge cluster randomly going dead, and reading No BUS, it will also randomly begin to work again. Tapping on the cluster will many times make it work again temporarily. This problem is permanently cured by removing the cluster, and bending the male pins just slightly so they hold tension on the wire harness. Twisting them roughly 5 degrees is plenty. Not all the pins must be twisted, even just a few will help keep the harness in place.   Back
